Single Sickle Trimmers

Single sickle trimmers are by far our most popular model of trimmers. They are the most economical units on the market. Cutting is done by standard stationary hay forks with a reciprocating knife bar. They can be changed into many trimming configurations with a simple wrench type setting. At Acampo Machine Works, we start out with a hydraulic up and down frame and install a set of manually adjusted cross tubes. These are for adjusting the bars in and out as well as any angle adjustment requirements. We then mount the various trimmer bars onto the cross tubes. There are 3-1/2 ft., 4 -1/2 ft., and 6 ft. bars available.
